Jog Waterfalls:

Emerging from Sharavati river Located in Western ghats of Sagar taluka of Shivamogga District in Karnataka,  Jog Falls is the third highest plunge waterfall in India. Jog is a segmented waterfall which depends on rain and in Monsoon becomes a plunge waterfall. The falls are major attractions for tourists visiting Karnataka. River Sharavati drops 253 m (830 ft) to Create the Majestic Waterfall. Jog Falls are also known as Gerusoppe Falls, Gersoppa Falls, and Jogada Gundi. There are two open viewing decks from where the visitors can see the waterfalls. One is located near the main entrance and parking area whereas the additional one near the inspection bungalow. One can also take a hike During Monsoon season, tourists can go down 1400 steps to the base of waterfalls and view the beauty and sound of nature at its best.

Murudeshwar:

The Murudeshwar Temple is situated in the town of Murudeshwar in the Bhatkal Taluk of North Karnataka. Murudeshwara has the world’s second largest Shiva statue. The temple is Built on the Kanduka Hill and is surrounded by Arabian Sea on three sides. Murudeshwar, is known to be another name for Shiva, was built over a period of two years. The  Shiva statue has been strategically built to sparkle when the first light of the dawn falls upon it. Marvel at the 20-storey gopuram built adjacent to the statue. You can go up the elevator to get a magnificent view of the surroundings. One should not miss checking out the intricate and delicate carvings. The compound of the temple has been modernized except the sanctum sanctorum, which retains its original form. The main deity of the temple is the Sri Mridesa Linga, which is believed to be a part of the original Atma Linga.

Mangroves Park:

Sharavathi Kandla Mangrove boardwalk is probably Honnavara's most popular attraction. It takes visitors through a well paved walkway in the middle of mangrove forest and into Sharavathi river. The Mangroves Park as an emerging tourist spot is home to a new 240-metre boardwalk that will allow tourists to walk around and learn more about the mangroves and the role they play in the ecosystem.  The Karnataka Forest Department (KFD) has set up a second of its kind mangrove walk in Karwar. The boardwalk is held on a small island with an estuary where the river Kali meets the Arabian Sea.

Mirjan Fort:

The Mirjan Fort is located on the west coast of the Uttara Kannada on the banks of river Aghanshini in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The fort known for its architectural elegance was the location of several battles in the past. Mirjan Fort is a royal reminder of our glorious history. It is situated about 11 km from the town of Kumta in Karnataka and is spread over an area of 4.1 hectares. The fort is also believed to be a site for many past battles in 16th and 17th Century and was functional till 1785. It is embellished with remarkable architecture of the bygone era, such as canals, moats, secret passageways and various other considerations to fortify its grounds. The splendid fort truly gives the impression of a fairytale castle all covered with grass and overgrowth. It is one of the best location to visit during Monsoon as it is covered in Greenery.

Secret Waterfall:

Ever got the chance to have a waterfall all for yourself? This Waterfall is located in a secluded area away from the crowd. You'll barely find anyone at the location. The crystal clear water and the surroundings will always have a part of you. It's a must visit Location during Monsoon.
